Ionian Gold | Cooking Edition

Ionian Gold's Cooking Edition is a virgin olive oil made from Koroneiki olives grown on our family estate in Kefalonia. It's harvested from the same ancient groves as our extra virgin range and pressed locally on the island, giving you the quality of a single estate Greek olive oil at a price you can cook with every day.

It's smooth, balanced and gently fruity with a clean olive flavour that works in everything from a slow roast to a quick pan fry. 

Virgin olive oil is made the same way as extra virgin olive oil, through cold mechanical extraction with no heat or chemicals. It's a step milder in flavour and sits beautifully in the background of a dish. We recommend it for cooking where you want quality olive oil without the intensity of an early harvest press.
